Manchester Life launches rental offer and confirms 302 new Ancoats homes are available to move in from October ’17

Helping to Fulfil Demand for Homes in Manchester’s Fastest Growing Residential Neighbourhood
Manchester Life today commenced lettings for Cotton Field Wharf on New Union Street in Ancoats. The development overlooks New Islington Marina and provides one, two and three-bed waterside apartments for rent. Unfurnished pricing starts at £675 per month for 1-bed, £900 per month for 2-bed and £1350 per month for a 3-bed.
Cotton Field Wharf is the first of four rental sites within Phase One of Manchester Life, which in total are delivering 860 homes in Ancoats for the private rental market.
Manchester Life’s model is to be the investor, developer, and landlord, which is a first for Manchester and has enabled a rental offering that has been developed with the resident in mind from the outset. The focus is on providing carefully designed, large and well-managed homes for the professional population seeking long-term rentals. Tenancies are available for up to 3 years, providing security of tenure with fixed, low rent increases.
Facilities include a club room, gym with state of the art Technogym equipment, private terraces, 24/7 concierge, secure car and cycle parking, and an on-site maintenance team. Apartments are unfurnished, however Manchester Life has partnered with roomservice by CORT to offer flexible rental of everything from furniture to household essentials and home entertainment.
The customer experience led approach includes a dedicated Cotton Field Wharf marketing office showcasing homes, virtual tours, and an online tenancy process with no administration fees and all referencing fees at cost price.
Residents will have a dedicated front and back of house team for Cotton Field Wharf, an online residents’ portal, and options to move apartments within the tenancy period subject to availability.
Our mission has been to design, develop and manage a standard of rental homes that have not previously been on offer in Manchester, helping to fulfil demand from the city’s professional population looking for rental accommodation in a vibrant and thriving neighbourhood on the eastern edge of the city centre. We’re providing larger homes with plenty of storage, higher ceilings, and full kitchens so that residents can settle in and make Cotton Field Wharf their home.”
