Planning Approved for Weavers Quay Rental Development In New Islington, East Manchester

Manchester Life Development Company is pleased to confirm planning approval for Weavers Quay, a 201-unit rental development located on a currently vacant site bordered by Old Mill Street, Weybridge Road, Coppersmith Road & New Islington Marina.
Weavers Quay will provide 1,2 & 3 bed rental apartments from spring 2019 onwards, complete with residents’ club room, 64 on-site car and 130 on-site cycle spaces, and a 24-hour concierge service.
The marina-side location of Weavers Quay, located within the vibrant and emerging Ancoats Ward, provides a desirable central Manchester location with immediate and easy access to the city’s employment, amenities and transport networks, with other forthcoming Manchester Life developments close by housing commercial units that will bringing exciting new food and beverage outlets to the neighborhood.
Weavers Quay is the sixth and final site within Phase One of Manchester Life to receive planning approval.
