Being part of the Manchester Life apprenticeship scheme, I am looking forward to exploring the wide range of built environment specialists I will be exposed to during the two-year program.
The unrivalled experience from six different industry sectors provides a unique benefit in allowing me to understand which role inspires me most, and whether it be within architecture, engineering or project management, I hope to find clarity in which career to pursue.
Currently, I am working for BCEGI, a principle contractor which so far has been an extremely interesting and fun experience. Balancing working life whilst studying for a HNC qualification in construction is both challenging and rewarding (social life reduced).
Having lived in Manchester for 8 years I have witnessed rapid change and enjoyed discovering much of its abundant heritage. Now I’m part of the city’s evolution, I hope myself and all apprentices on the program can continue to enrich the unique urban fabric enjoyed by Mancunians and visitors from across the world.
