Manchester Life is an amazing opportunity and it is a massive privilege to be part of such a large mission
During my latest placement at Graham’s Construction, I have been involved in various parts of site activities and work operations at Murrays’ Mills in Ancoats, a refurbishment of three existing mill buildings and a new build block.
The built environment has always fascinated me, and ever since studying about world cities at A Level and learning about the rate of urbanisation today, I realised that I wanted to pursue a career in construction.
Being part of the Manchester Life apprenticeship scheme, I am looking forward to exploring the wide range of built environment specialists I will be exposed to during the two-year program.
I have always had a keen interest in architecture and my most recent placement has been with CallisonRTKL, the architects who designed Manchester Life’s Cotton Field Wharf, and have several other PRS projects across the city.
